Why didn't Sarah Palin just act as if there was nothing to hide?

Why did she have her daughter hide behind a baby and baby blanket? If she would have put it out in the open, it wouldn't be such a big deal. She says they support her, why hide her? Was she ashamed?

  1. Is she were hiding, the daughter would not have been present, like most of Barry's family.

    She hid nothing.

  2. There's no way she was ashamed of her family, she paraded them in front of millions of people, a mother than is ashamed of her family would have never done that.

The only people that are upset with the way the whole situation was handled were liberals who have a great resentment for her or people like her.

Liberals don't know what a true loving person is, since they there aren't any in the liberal party.

  3. I agree with Billy....if she had truly wanted to hide her daughter's pregnancy her daughter would not have been present during the announcement.

  4. hidden  how?

she was asked --- she was upfront about it and her husbands 1 DUI when he was 22

Imagine her wanting to protect her 17 year old daughter .. wow tuff one there

  5. ...as Obama's brother lives on $12.00 a year in a hut in Africa.

  6. If she wanted to hide it, she'd have done the liberal feminist thing - make sure her dughter had an abortion.  Isn't choice the lib thing?  Well, the choice was made, but you just can't leave it alone, can you.

  7. I was wondering why she was always the one holding the baby.  I mean it would have been a very strong image to have Sarah or her husband hold their baby during her acceptance speech.  Politics and baby holding and kissing babies go way back.  I would conclude she was trying to hide her daughters belly.  Good catch!

    LOL

  9. Are you so sure of that? She is receiving an incredible amount of scrutiny, moreso then Obama ever did.

I think it is more than appropriate for the press and the democratic party to stay out of the family affairs of any politicans family. Unless they make themselves a part of the campaign, as Cindy and Michelle have, I think they should be out of bounds.

Frankly, I think it is none of our business, but it is the dems, especially the daily Kos that have fueled the feeding frenzy with their accusation of Trig being Palin's grandson not her son. After that came out and they made it an issue, she pretty much had to drag her daughter into it, which is unfortunate.
