Did Bristol ever attend a "Chastity Ball" with her daddy? Just wondering. And since Abstinence Only did not work on her own kid, how can Palin think it will work on the rest of the country's adolescents?

  1. Moral of the story is keep your daughters away from kids who have MySpace pages proclaiming that "I'm a f---in redneck who likes to shoot s---t"

  2. Who is to say that Palin did not teach her daughter about using protection? Palin IS a supporter of birth control and i'm sure her daugher is smart enough to know how to use a condom.

  3. she forgot to keep her legs closed, why didn't it work on the father either

if it doesn't cost me a dime and if keeps one kid from not getting pregnantt , its worth trying

  4. Yeah, you're right. We shouldn't do anything to attempt to prohibit our children from becoming sexually active. <<EXTREME SARCASM>>

Spoken like someone who is too young to have children.

  5. get a life please; this is so old news ...

  6. Did you do EVERYTHING your parents told you to?

    I sure didn't.

As much as I don't like Sarah Palin for other reasons - the teenage daughter doesn't bother me at all. You can teach your kids about everything you want them to know. And they're going to turn around and do what they want anyway.

  7. Why didn't a pro-American ideology work on Obama?

Why didn't ethics work on the Clintons?

    Who knows?

  8. Everybody has free choice... it doesn't mean we should condone bad behavior.

Handing out condoms condons bad behavior.

We need to teach our children what is right and wrong, and then let them make their own decisions.

But that goes hand in hand with letting them actually be responsible.  Parents are so quick to fix their children's mistakes so they never learn anything.

  9. because she lives in her own little world

somehow believes teens wont have s*x and cant have kids

she should practice what she preaches

  10. Without Palin even in the conversation there is a lot involved in teenage pregnancy.  It's not the parent's fault, it's the teen's fault.  Parents do the best job they know how to do raising their kids and when the kids get to a certain age it does not matter how you raised them, all it depends on is what they think at the time.  How much of what you said actually was heard and learned.  When a teen becomes willingly sexually active they have entered into adulthood.  It don't matter what others think, they are now adults and have to learn how to deal with it prematurly.  God sends others to help them get through it.

  11. It didn't, and it won't. We need to preach safe s*x.

  12. I would agree that abstinence ONLY education is not an answer, however--at the other end of the spectrum we have extreme liberals who push for condoms to be readily available at school. This does nothing more than promote teen age s*x.It amounts to  the same thing as putting a bottle of Jack Daniels in the hands of an alcoholic and saying "but don't drink it"---we need to meet in the middle somewhere. Aside from teen pregnancies, STD's  are increasingly prevalent for teens. check out the CDC website for HIV/AIDS stats for adolescents.

  13. Because at 17 her daughter is going to make her own decisions. What? A teenager not listening to their parents!?! *gasp* Shocking!

  14. The 'Christian Right' pro-life 'program' worked in saving her baby from abortion.  Or maybe the condom broke. Was Sarah supposed to supervise that part too?

  15. She didn't pay attention when they were handing out the brochures.

Failing to make an impact on Palin's kid is no reason to withhold it from other kids...unless you're saying that you think all kids are the same and that it's impossible to communicate with them.

  16. Because people make mistakes.

  17. Abstinence Only programs have a far higher success rate than faulty condoms and half-dose birth control pills.

Then again, Abstinence Only programs don't net a MINIMUM of $250.00 for each child aborted.
