Ok so the Toronto Blue Jays should have done a ton of things at the Trade deadline! They should have traded Zaun. A J Burnett is one of there best pitchers but i think they should have traded him. Maybe for a good hitter or some pitching prospects and some hitting. Or just a really good batter!

They should never have released Frank Thomas and just traded him for prospects! Well that what i think tell me what you think!

  1. I half half agree yes they should of done something with Frank Thomas, but A J Burnett should return close to his original form and the can't trade Zaun unless they want anothe back-up catcher.

  2. They tried to acquire Raul Ibanez and Jason Bay but the Mariners and Pirates were asking for too much. They didn't trade Burnett because he wanted to stay and also he is helpful to them trying to make the playoffs. They tried ALOT of things but they couldnt get antything done.

No one wanted to trade for Thomas. He had a big contract and why not just wait until he is released!

  3. The Jays really never was able to contend in the AL East with Tampa Bay and both the Red Sox and Yankees, their season was over before it ever began.

  4. They tried to get Bay, but they were stubborn and didn't offer the Pirates any good prospects in return.
