  1. I can tell you why! They traded their whole farm system for Santana they have very little left in the farm system to offer, the sold their soul for Santana,This was also reported on ESPN.The tigers also had this same problem they sold the whole farm for Willis Cabera Retrina,They needed one middle relief pitcher, knowing the yankees needed another back up catcher they made the deal to aquire farnsworth and give us Pudge,Now that was a steel for us

  2. there fine but stupid GOOO BREWERS

  3. because they're stupid. phillies all the way

  4. I am a Met Fan i think they should have gone for Holliday or Nady

  5. They will in August when the relievers' trading prices go down. Ya gotta love the waiver wire.

  6. To make a deal you must first have players someone else wants. They don't have anything other team want.

  7. First off, THE METS WILL WIN THE NL EAST, THE PHILS CAN'T HANG W/ THEM!

I think the Mets didn't make a move because there wasn't a ton of relievers out there, but they've got a solid rotation and a great closer, so they should be a-okay. It might get tough down the stretch, but I think they can manage it w/ offense and they have a great infield (Wright, Delgado, Reyes) and a solid outfield (Beltran being the name that comes to mind). their fill-in players are doing great while they wait for their stars to re-hab. Watch them play better down the stretch as they get more guys back.
