i never saw it advertised in the paper the week leading up to last saturday and never saw it advertised on the evening news

just like the souths game in america last week no coverage on tv or foxtel, no wonder the stands were empty when i finally saw the highlights on the news

  1. I'm a Pom and I live in the UK, and as a member of the Canberra Raiders, I was sent an invite from the NRL to come, this came through the post, little chance of me attending but I thought this was fab!

Also I had invites from my club e-news letter, and also NRL digital new letter.

It was also plastered all over the NRL website.

  2. just to tell you channel 9 do plan to show the Souths VS Leeds game, probably nearer to World Club Challenge.

  3. It was sent out to Melbourne Storm members but other than that i have no idea .It would not have been advertised down here.

  4. I think there were only a limited number of tickets available, and they weren't to sit in the stands but to walk around and mingle with the players as I understood it, I saw ads for it in the paper in the weeks leading up to it, but you are right, they could have promoted it more, I got the vibe that they didn't want too many people there?!

  5. they did advertise it in rugby league week in the december issue
