  1. the passagers were probably just shocked

  2. omg seriously. i thought it would be a good idea to take the greyhound to vegas & it was sooo ghetto. some guy started punching some other guy in the face in the dark cuz he wouldnt shut up while others were trying to sleep. the bus driver jsut said if we can all drop it then we wont stop & fill out papers  he even threatened us w/ turning the bus around & its crammed so every1 just wants to get to their destination.

on the way back from our trip while waiting in the station a old wroker punched a woman bum who was talking smack. i'll never ride the greyhound its so ghetto & apparently ANYHTHING goes

  3. The sole victim was fatally wounded with the first stab (hunting knife through the neck).  It is still possible to scream for a few seconds after your jugular is severed.

Everybody else escaped uninjured due to heroics of quick-thinking passengers.  Some forcibly stopped the killer from escaping the bus at risk of their own lives as the killer slashed at them through the door.  Then, the bus driver disabled the bus as the killer tried to drive away.

Maybe you should do some research before opening your facehole.

  4. Canadians are great people.  I don't know why they did not help.  I wish they would have.

  5. Cause they all were canadians ...

  6. how the h**l should we be able to answer this question. What, did you expect one of us on here to be one of the passengers and to actually tell you what was going through there minds. other than that i cannot understand why any1 would ask this

  7. i think that they were in shock and afraid that they would be harmed. they all ran off the buss. then the man came out with the head, he didnt do it in front of them

  8. are you kidding, that guy was crazy.

  9. It was very early in the morning and most of the passangers were sleeping, as was the victim. Most of the passangers were startled awake by the screams. I don't think anyone would like to approach a madman with a knife under these conditions.

  10. Because they were scared and did not want to die themselves.

If I were there, I would have taken the risk and helped the poor guy.

People are such cowards. Seems like living was more important to them than possibly saving someone else.

As I said before, I am so ashamed that I live in the year 2008 where people are no longer brave, and there are more and more murderers, rapist and killers than probably ever before.

  11. because they are afraid and the govt and media are to blame to we have become robots that don't believe in violence and are afraid to owen a gun . were becoming dependent on the cops to do what should be considered self protection. this is a good case where the relatives will sue.

  12. Because people nowadays. Scared out of their wits, Probably about to p**s themselves.

  13. It has to do with basic psychology. Your more likely to be saved from a horrific incident if there are only a few witnesses around. The more witnesses there are the less likely chance you have of someone helping you. I's called difusion of responsibility.

Psychologists have supposed that in this case a process known as diffusion of responsibility was at work. This means that when individuals know that many others are present, then they as individuals do not bear the full burden of responsibility. They make the assumption that someone else must be taking care of that or surely someone must have done something by now'.

Diffusion of responsibility is a social phenomenon which tends to occur in groups of people above a certain critical size when responsibility is not explicitly assigned.

Diffusion of responsibility can manifest itself:

in a group of peers who, through action or inaction, allow events to occur which they would never allow if alone (action is typically referred to as groupthink; inaction is typically referred to as the bystander effect) or

in hierarchical organizations as when, for example, underlings claim that they were following orders and supervisors claim that they were just issuing directives and not doing anything per se.

This mindset can be seen in the phrase "No one raindrop thinks it caused the flood".

Kitty Genovese, a New York woman, was stabbed to death near her house. The New York Times reported "Thirty-Eight Who Saw Murder Didn't Call the Police," blaming diffusion of responsibility; later details contradicted the initial report.

In a firing squad, one of the shooters may be randomly issued a weapon containing a blank cartridge rather than one with a bullet. This allows each of the members of the firing squad to believe that he did not fire a fatal shot.
