At the RNC, not one of them brought up any kind of plan for the economy, no details of anything.

My thought, is because they arent going to do anything, 95% voting record with bush probably means you're satisfied with the country being in a recession and the economic policy of Bush that drove us there.

  1. Because Senator McCain hasn't laid it out yest.  He will tomorrow night.

Relax.  Nothing just happens in politics, especially quickly.

  2. The country is not in a recession.  We had growth last quarrter of over 3% and gas prices are falling.  The Republicans will address sepcifics in the debates.  Food for thought:  whatever you think of Republicans, Obamas plan to raise taxes on businesses and to raise capital gains taxes is a sure plan to drive us into the recession that you think we are already in.  If you think we have problems now ... just wait!

  3. All I heard at the DNC was tax the oil companies, Tax the rich people.... Take from rich give to the poor. Oh and federalize health care cause that will save your tax dollars. Vague at best is a word that comes to mind as long as you have key phrases like change and no more of the same you Dems think he made some fantastic speech . Substance wasn't there for me.

  4. Um, did you watch the Democrat Convention?  That is the job of the Candidate.  Wait until he speaks, Ok?  It is not up to other people to set policy.

  5. You are exactly right.  No Republican is going to admit to his/her audience that the economy is poor and in need of fixing, or else they blaspheme the President.  The good news is that voters know better, just like they knew "Mission Accomplished" was a lie, and now we can't leave Iraq until it's "won"?

    Ignorance is bliss.

  6. Because the Presidential candidate hasn't spoken yet...he's the one with the plan.

  7. Yes, because in between screams of delight at the sound of Obama's name and the chanting, the Democrats laid out a very detailed economic plan during their convention.

  8. I watched Ron Paul, Republican, and he talked about the economy.
