Why didn't you have kids? A penny for your thoughts?

For me it was timing (like a 555 timer). As time went on and the 3 step kids grew up (one girl and two boys) I saw how the girl turned out. When everyone gets nosy and wants something to gossip about I give them something along these lines. I was told the old wise tail of having twins. Seeing how the daughter turned out and in time the two boys bad decisions that will follow them for life I tell eveyone I did not want to posion the green earth with another daughter (or two) like the one I have as a step daughter. Half the genes and all that. Many a truth is said in jest but it gives the gossip mongers something to talk about.

cheers

  1. im too young and they cost too much to raise.

  2. genes dont haveing anything to do with how they turned out (unless your referring to how they look)

they way they behave is 100% how they are raised. so if you raised her then its your fault

  3. I may only be fifteen, but I decided right at the age of seven that I don't ever want to have a family. The reason is because I want to pursue my dream career so badly and once I am working my dream career I don't want to quit. It's not that I don't like kids, I think kids are pretty cool (though I think some teenagers are the most annoying and small minded people I've ever met), but I just don't want my own. Also, I think I'd be selfish if I had my own kids because I would be working so much and I wouldn't have any time to take care of the children.

So I think it's best that I don't have children. In fact, I would like to get my tubes tied in my twenties.

Kids are not for everyone and I'm glad I made that decision now rather than later when if I already had kids.

However, I do plan to have quite a couple pets, but I will make sure to put some time in for them because I've always wanted a ferret or two and maybe a couple cats and perhaps even a turtle, idk, I love animals.

  4. I have 2 now, but I swore up and down before I would never ever have kids. I couldn't stand kids when I didn't have any but things changed for good when I did. It was like Magic! I never thought in a million years that my heart could actually live outside my body! It feels like that!
