Why didnt I get a tax rebate? Is it over already?

Havent received anything. My return was direct deposited. My last soc. numbers are 51. Have all the rebates been given out already?

rebates won't be done til july 11th.you are getting an check if you qualify for a rebate b/c all dd have been done since may 16th already,so you can go to irs.gov and view the date for the paper check schedule based on your last 2 digits of your ss #

the reason you are getting a check is maybe if you had filing fees deducted from your refund or split your refund into different accounts or you owed and paid by direct debit or something,and if you claimed as a dependent on somebody else's return you will not get a rebate at all.

Rebates are still being sent out I believe until July. You may have got direct deposit with you tax refund. But if you had any fees taken out, like H&R Block or Turbo tax, you will be getting a paper check mailed.  You can check the status on irs.gov, if it has been processed it will give  you the amounts and dates.

51  direct  deposit  went  May   9th   but  I  have  seen  news  about  some  direct  deposit  payments  going  to  wrong  accounts .   I   would  call  tomorrow .

If you filed a tax return you will get it. I don't think there is any rhyme or reason to the order that they have been sent out. My daughter filed and got her refund in early february, her fiancee filed in early april, he got his stimulus check the same day he got his refund and it was another month before she got hers. BTW the irs "forgot" to send the kids rebates, they will be sent in late june or july.
