They were inside France's 22...

Instead they kept on insisting the pick and drive tactic?

Come on Richie McCAW... stop trying to be a hero and give the ball to the backs!

Haha... it doesnt matter now.

  1. BECAUSE.......GRAHAM HENRY NEVER TOLD HIM TO PRACTISE DROP GAOLS. IT'S NOT HIS FAULT WE LOST.

JEEZ.....WILL YA GIVE HIM A BREAK. 4GODS SAKE

  2. I remember the day Richie McCaw was announced as being the All Black captain. I said "Oh Sh#t!"

    My mates asked me why?

My responds was, history has shown from pass captains that the ball alway goes where the captain is.

It just comes to show, history alway has it way of repeating its selfs.

  3. y the h**l is every1 saying that he got scaared and rubbish like that he waasnt getting any ball and when he did the french were boutt 5 meters offside and they had a inexperienced halfback in bredon leonard pretty big decision not to take weepu wasnt it

  4. yes your right it doesnt matter anymore.....

  5. The team thought they were on a roll and thought they could score a winning try rather than take the points right in front of the posts, and it was part of their game plan(pretty **** one though).

  6. Maybe he told Richie McCaw that he couldn't do it!..Unsure

  7. they wanted to win with a try

NZ were camped in the french half for at least 10minutes

and didnt take the drop goal option

pure arrogance.... and it cost them the game

  8. the pick and go wouldve worked if the ref opened his eyes and saw the hands in the ruck 5m out from the tryline... *shakes head*

  9. Because  the  team  lacked  a  leader  in  the  backline  such  as  Tana  Umaga

  10. u really want to know why he didnt go for the drop goal.. because he knew if he missed the whole of new zealand will hate him.. he didnt want all that presure.. but what was better aye, drop goal from 22 or where he ended up drop goaling from 45 meter line?? hahahaha..

  11. Maybe cos he didn't want to be confused with the man who is not only famous for drop kicks but also famous for his constipated style of conversion kicks, Jonny Wilkinson.

  12. I think by that time the AB's became a little desperate and from the looks of the faces of those on the bench, panicy and despondant - France's defence was great, rushing to disrupt any kind of move NZ were trying to prepare.  A well played game by the French.  Hoping Argentina take out the finals though, they're playing fantastic rugby.

  13. I agree, a drop goal should have been tried, there was still time to get the ball back if it missed. Unfortunately, as great a player as he is, Richie McCaw is not a great strategist and not worthy of captaincy of the All Blacks. Bring back Tana!!!

  14. They panicked and choked - thats why.

They are not called chokes for simply losing.

  15. He had a brain fade! as did all the other players!
