Well, if your a Patriots fan (which i assume you are) how would you feel when you get to see your wish come true and you get to see Tom a few weeks early and on the first drive, a big, strong defensive end comes around Brady's blind side and drives him to the turf and Tom out for the season with a concussion. Unfortunately, the Browns had to learn this the hard way, with losing Derek Anderson for a while. That is why Tom did not play, and he probably wouldn't even have played if his foot was fine.

why risk injury of 1 of the best QB's in today's NFL for a game that doesn't mean anything at all?

win or lose it doesn't matter all the records go back to 0-0 for the regular season to start!!!
