Basketball is a team game.  Kobe is not a team.  He is one player on a team.  Just because Lakers have Kobe doesn't mean they'll win.

Lakers lacked a center and a very good defensive bigman.  1 very good defender like Bynum would of brought the lakers the championship.  Celtics just kept attacking the paint and no one could stop them because lakers had no big to defend.

It's a team thing. Kobe/Shaq/Wade and others can't do it by themselves, they need a good supporting cast. Kobe didn't really explode in the finals, and his so-called the best bench in the league got crushed. The whole team were soft. Those need to be fixed in order for them to win.

Kobe is the best player in the NBA, but the Celtics are the best TEAM in the NBA....

Next year with Andrew Bynum back in the lineup the Lakers will have an even better shot than they did this year.....

because its a team sport, Kobe can't do it by himself, you need a team, defense, bench, the Lakers had everything but experience, toughness, and defense, and yes Kobe has the experience but nobody else on the team does or very little.
