it now transpires that liverpool will try to get barry for £17 million finan? why they could have done this at the start and saved a lot of time

  2. They did 2 nights ago and then childish Aston Villa said  "Sorry you're 15 minutes late we can't sell him now"! But if they had give the full asking price last week they would have probably said the same thing.

    Also the reason why they didn't do this at the start is he is well over priced because he isn't the best player in the world and he's quite old! So you don't just give in straight away!

    Personally I hope it falls through, the funds would be better spent on a winger.

    It's natural for any club to bargain, a manager would have to be an idiot to just pay the asking price straight off.
