  1. because TSH is short for Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. Thyroidectomy means the thyroid was removed. if there is no thyroid, how are u going to stimulate it to produce any effect?


  2. It's hardly surprising that you can't stimulate secretion of hormones from a gland that isn't there.
