Why didnt the double cheeseburger cost $1 at mcdonalds?

when i went to mcdonalds today the double cheeseburger said it costs $4.29. i thought that it only costs $1 and i didnt see it under the $1 menu. does the $1 double cheeseburger only apply at some mcdonalds locations?

not all mcdonalds have the same items on the dollar menu. 4.29 is awfully expensive for just the burger. i would hate to see the price of the value meal!

when it said 4.29 it meant for the meal like medium fries and a drink! I used to work there, and thats how much it was!

well there is a double cheeseburger that isnt a value meal that is almost five bucks but the one that is 1 dollar is made with smaller less expensive patties

It's unusual, but at some McDonalds, the double cheeseburgers aren't under the dollar menu. I went to one a few months ago that didn't even have a dollar menu! That sucked.

mcdonalds is gross and 4.29 is way too much for a burger it should be 1$
