  1. He had to keep them to feed the insectivorous birds.

  2. cuz they are important to birds and frogs and stuff like that, now, why he kept flies i dont know, cuz frogd DONT eat them and the live on p**p.

  3. There are a known 170 species of mosquito in North America.  Many more than the mosquito image in your mind.  So now you see the fallacies of Noah's Ark.  There is no way he nor anyone could collect and take care of 170 species or mosquitoes, let alone anything else.  The story has many flaws.  Collecting two of every kind of animal is only one of them.

  4. Maybe because when the the people made fun of him building the ark, he saw a chance to get back at them and not be blamed.

  5. He was told to have two of each and every creature on Earth - a male and female, so the creatures could breed again, mosquitoes included. He couldn't kill them.

Mosquitoes are part of our food chain, as annoying as they may be, and they do serve a purpose. What that purpose is, I don't know, but they do serve one, haha.
