The native Americans were granted special status because they had a separate identity in this land before the nation existed. African Americans, on the other hand, were granted full citizenship, eventually getting all the rights and privileges associated with that.

You have obviously never been to a Reservation. There is no special treatment for Indians. They used to own this entire country and have now been displaced to certain areas on which to live. Special treatment? I'd hate to see what you consider harsh treatment.

The English did not steal Africa from Africans, they stole America from Indians. Africa sold their own People as slaves to the English in America. Indians had no choice but die or turn over their country. Both horrible circumstances, but two very different situations. Indians get more freebies because this was their land. More and more the United States is turning into an all-race country. You didn’t live through the enslavement, you are living in a new era that you can do as you please. And those city’s you talked about weren’t given, as any other place, it’s where people choose to live. As long as people from ALL sides keep up the racism talk, there will always be racism. Quit looking for the negative, and look for the positive and be a tool that helps, not destroys. Also, if you are truly looking for a respectable honest answer, then speak English right. The word “dint" is not used here as it's defining meaning; you used it to shorten a word trying to be ignorant. However, it does fit the question well.

Indians were set to the ways that the land would put them through and the religion that was only sub post to bring them the survival of their people with the union of their own.
