  1. Coz a little portion of your ram goes to motherboard (not only RAM)

    Eg: HardDisk,Pendrive even Mobile

    Thanzzz

  2. The reason for this is when you format computer memory so that it can be used the formatting takes up memory, don't worry your computer is not "eating" it and that is what is suppose to happen.

Hope i helped with your problem

  3. Because you have onboard video that's sharing it with system memory. You can always buy add-on video card and disable onboard video to free up some RAM.

  4. Ram size is rarely ever actual. It's that same with Hard Drives. If you by a 120GB hard drive, sometimes it'll only really be 119.7GB.

Not sure why, but I can tell you that it's normal if your ram is a little less than what you bought.

  5. its because of the manufacturing of physical disks..if u wuld see the upper portion and lower portion of the hard disks are not used to store data or soemthing...so i think its totally depends on the manufacturing things
