Why do 11 year olds even know how to have s*x in the first place?

I know that kids learn about things, and there's health class blahblahblah. But it makes me sick to think that there are 11/12 year olds having s*x. What could they possibly be thinking at that age? I was just getting over the "kissing boys is gross" at that point.

Where are these kids parents at? What do you think influences/pressures such a young child to want to have s*x??

At their age, they typically think they are older than they actually are. They want to be adults, and s*x is the best way they know how.

As far as the parents, what can they do? Tell a teen/pre-teen not to hgave s*x, not to do drugs, not to get bad grades. They typically react by doing the exact opposite of what you tell them to do. You just have to sit back, and HOPE that they are making good choices.

There are lots of things that pressures young children to want to have s*x. The main factor, I'm sure, is that there are these girls with low self-esteem, who think they are ugly. There are horny boys. These boys are very curious and they ask their "girlfriend" to have s*x with him. What goes through the girl's mind is something like "I have to please him! He loves me! He thinks I'm pretty! I will never ever get another chance!" Girls normally don't want to have s*x, but they want their 'lil self-esteems boosted.

I think it's because once they've learnt about it they want to try out their new knowledge! Or they may think because it's such an adult thing to do they might feel more grown up (you know what kids are like these days, they want to grow up before their time!!)

Any parent that has a child should tell them about s*x and it's dangours before the child has s*x ed. When we did s*x ed. we only had half an hour on std's and stuff. And any schools that have s*x ed lessons for children that age should be disgusted with themselves. We didn't have proper s*x ed until last year (and i was 13 and in year 9!!)

Anyways it's digusting and children that age shouldn't be having s*x! I agree!!

Yeah I definatly don't think little 11 and 12 year olds should be having s*x. They're on Maury every once in awhile and they have a baby in tow. But it isn't really the parents fault...kids all go to school. If the parents are letting their children run wild and out all hours of the night, then yes, they're to blame as well but most don't.

In my opinon they are either just curious or the fact that they think "everyone is doing it". That would be my guess.

Just because 11 year olds know what it is and how to do it, that doesn't mean that they actually are doing it. And, if they are doing it, it's probably because their parents didn't teach them that it's wrong and something is probably going on at home and they feel that their boyfriend is the only one that cares about her.

in  6th grade they dont really teach you about s*x just about how ur bodies r changing and periods and stuff like that not really about s*x

You are living in the old days.were people can't even have s*x until they get married.Now is different! I understand the kids at that age are having s*x,but sometimes is because they don't realize what are they doing.

I know what you mean, i didn't even have my first kiss til i was 16 but i think kids learn a lot through the media nowadays and i think they get peer pressure and want to be cool.

I'm 12 and I'm really mature for my age so I learned about s*x & stuff from my parents when I was very young. A guy I know was telling me how he wants to "have it with his gf" and he is my age!

I'm going into 7th grade and in the 6th grade I never had a "s*x-ed class"

I think it's really gross for such young kids to do that. Personally I don't know any details about s*x and I can't believe that 11-year-olds do!

Media, friends, peer pressure, etc. influences them to do that. You can't blame the parents. Maybe the parents try their best to teach their kids but the kids don't listen...or maybe even forget.

eh TV, movies, celebs, there just like oh look that looks fun and they probably have no freaking clue what there doing and thta how they get pregnant.

i actually dont have health class and im in gr. 8, the parents are stupid and dont pay attention to their child and lets them be by thereselves with a boyfriend. seriously 11 and 12 year olds haveing boyfriends iss soooo STUPID! there is no point, like seriously you cant go anywhere or anything maybe like a movie or a park but if i saw some like 10 year olds kissing i would probably burst out laughing and call them losers. there just wanna- bes s***s
