  1. I've heard that as a nurse.  I believe it's related to the Sun and vitamin D absorption genetics in people whose early ancestors were the longest nearest the equator, just like the genetics for the melanin that causes skin pigmentation that protected them from the more dangerous radiation of the Sun at the equator.

  2. well bone density is related to testosterone and vitamin d These factors allow for maximum calcium absorption. A white woman who is active and gets plenty of vitamin d will probably have better bone density than a black female smoker per say. But a black female smoker will have better bones than a white female smoker on average I think?

In time we will understand how food environmental exposure is related to prevention and cure of many diseases.

  3. Where did you hear this? I don't believe that is correct.

  4. You are referring to black women NOT being more prone to osteoporosis. It's more of a white women thing.

I guess ancestry stuff made African women more robust in this area.

Not to brag too much, -blacks have more of that sickle cell anemia thing going on.
