  1. OK I understand that the Americans call tomato sauce ketchup but why TOMATO ketchup? If Ketchup means tomato sauce then why use tomato? It's a bit like call an ATM an ATM machine or tuna fish instead of just tuna ( have you ever heard of tuna lamb?
