I've been here 5 years and not met one person who wasn't a racist when you get deep down to it. (And racist against whites too).

  1. I don't think i am.but i have been wrong before.color doesn't bother me i'm of mixed blood myself from a distance i look mexican up close i look white with a good tan with hair thats almost a brown;grey fro. it's the bigits that gets me.

  2. I think everyone is racist--just some people are moreso than others.  I have gone out of my way to be really nice to a certain person of color before and I could tell she hated me before she even gave me a chance to see if I was sincere or not.  Like I said, I think we are all racist.

  3. Humans as a species use stereotypes to quickly gain understanding about the world around us. We tend to use these stereotypes when it comes to people. When the media or those around us start depicting a certain ethnic, social, religious group in a bad way this influences our stereotype of that group. Soon we start thinking a whole cultural group is bad if we are not careful, this leads to racism. Stereotyping isn't all bad, but when people do not realise the media is exaggerating stories about groups, or that our stereotypes are not a good representation of each individual of a group, it becomes bad and racist. I think the only way to remove racism is to get to know people from every possible cultural, religious etc background.

  4. well i wouldnt say everyone is racist but the majority, its the behaviour learnt, more like i do this to u, ill do this back to u and the cycle just keeps going...

  5. why do non-americans insist on grouping us all together in order to make generalizations about us?  isn't this a bit racist on your part?

  6. Well it is probably because they were taught by their parents to be racist or their friends taught them or they just see the bad side of people.

I am not racist and I'm american.(asian actually).

  7. Way to stereotype.  I am not even American, but come on....some people are racist, some are.  By your logic, you are racist too.

  8. I don't like people who don't like me. some are of my own race, some are not. I don't like you and i don't know what color you are. Stereotypes suck

  9. Americans look at their parents, and the rest of the world and in comparison they are so much less racist they believe that means they're not racist at all.

  10. sadly its human nature, even tho no one would agree with me, or hopefully. this has been going on for years and years.

  11. America is probably the most racist country in the world. And it's coming out since a black man is running to president.

  12. Because it's the political correct thing to do. Everyone (or most) needs to come across as the perfect family, without fault. And no one is that way. I think if we all were just up front with how we really felt, that would be the first step towards ending racism.

  13. Well because we're not. At least I'm not. Ask all you want. I'm not racist. I find this question offensive to my nationality. We are NOT racist.
