Why do Americans not see that those with million dollars homes want an increase in sale taxes and a decrease?

A decrease in their property taxes will be a landfall for them while and increase in sale taxes with hurt the hard working poor even more. Think about it you filthy rich.

Very true!  And ditto for the so-called "Fair Tax" that would replace the income tax with a 30% sales tax but would hit the poor and middle class very hard while giving a huge break to the wealthy.
