Why do Asian Drivers always drive slow in the fast lane?

Yesterday, when I was driving on the fast lane on the freeway, I encountered 5 asian drivers driving 60 mph in the fast lane. As a result, I would have to switch lanes just to get past them because they would not switch lanes. In the California Driving Handbook, it says if you are driving slower than the person behind you, you need to switch lanes and let the cars pass by. Why are asian drivers like this? I am not racist, but why do I always see this everyday? Thanks

60 mph is a perfectly acceptable speed for any lane.  The speed limit in California is usually 65 (on a few roads it's 70, but that's rare), so they were only 5 under.  If you tried to pass them, it means that you were going well over the speed limit.

One possible answer is the fact that some countries in Asia drives on the left lane. To them the slow lane is on the left. But that's just one reason, another would jut be ignorance and disregard for other commuters. Let see, one can also argue that  if one were to drive slow, even in the highway, one can minimize the severity of an accident. Which brings us back to ignorance. which is in any case affects all drivers. We are also conditioned to think that Asian drives bad through the media, with that thought infused in your mind we tend to realize them more than we used to. Bad driving is a disease of all races and ages......especially with cell phone users and text message-rs........unbelievable

The next time you encounter one - ask them why. ;)

It may be because your "speeding" and that they're driving according to the posted speed limit.

MOST of the Asians doing that are older and not used to driving. They certainly did not drive cars in their native country. They drove small motorcycles. Few can afford cars in most Asian countries.

did you forget to count the other nonasians who crawl on the fast lane???

I lost count on the numerous times when the losers crawl on the fast lane were white or black. A few times it'll be some hispanic man. And once in a while it would be asian. but MOST OF THE TIME the dumb slow @ss on the fast lane is either white or black
