And should they (like Mick Malthouse) get their hair dyed (like most of the players running around seem to have questionable colour in their locks???????

  1. To be appreciated as a coach you need to go grey, players view grey as experience and even if coach is 21 and grey players look at him and say wow he's grey he must know what he's talking about. lol

  2. Have you seen their antics in the coaches box? Now THAT is why they go grey! And it is a very good explanation if you have watched Mick Malthouse!

  3. Unless most NRL coaches they still have a brain after their playing days are over.

However, as most of them earn around $400k per year (and the season only goes 6 months)  I am sure there are plenty of people who want their jobs.

  4. Mick Malthouse is close to 60 and most men go grey - unless they're vain - around 45.

Young guys and women experiment with looks to see what suits them, and for some, purple hair is part of the process.

Some footballers, I am sure, go blond so the umpires will notice them - a disproportionate number of blonds have won the Brownlow. Think Buckley, Voss, Hird...although those three should have won it with purple hair!

  5. I dont know ???

  6. good pick up. I reckon it has something to do with the stress they encounter week-in-week-out.

Brett Ratten turning Grey should only be a couple of years away.
