  1. I'm pretty sure Carnival doesn't have a hire rate of missing passengers than any other cruise ship.  The usual reason for the missing passengers is that they missed the boat.

  2. ehh..

people having a little too much fun on the islands and forgetting to get back on the ship

people getting wasted and falling off the balconies and such.

it's not just carnival though, all cruises have missing passengers every so often

  3. Because the people get stupid drunk and start climbing around on the railings and fall in.  Idiots.

  4. In watching this video, I'd blame all the naked statues!

  5. If that is indeed true, one reason would be that Carnival has the reputation [deserved or not] as the "party" ship, which to some people means getting hammered and doing stupid things, such as trying to balance on the ship railings, or jumping from balcony to balcony, etc.  When someone goes overboard, it's a pretty sure bet that too much alcohol is involved.

  6. CCL is the largerst cruise line and has the most passengers
