Through their paintings and their statues you can see that the egyptians consisted of arabs and nubians.

Also Egypt is a part of Africa.

  1. All Caucasians? Sounds like you are doing the stereotyping here, pal. I know Egypt had Nubian kings and queens, was the main source of gold and had their own pyramids, just to cover the obvious. Egypt was also ruled by a Greek dynasty (Ptolemy) and had citizens from all over the known world.

  2. I think you may be stereotyping caucasians a bit.  Not sure where you're writing from but I am caucasian and I think it's more likely that most Egyptians had some Nubian roots.

  3. It is true that the Nubian's ruled Egypt for 70 years in the later stage of the Egyptian dynasties, but the throughout most of ancient Egyptian history it was ruled by Mediterranean whites. the original  Egyptians who founded ancient Egypt were white, it was only in the very late period that the Nubian's ruled ancient Egypt and it was only for 70 years at which point the Nubian's were expelled from Egypt.

  4. What?!? I am Caucasian and anyone who has two brain cells to rub together can come to the conclusion of the Egyptian/Nubian connection. You are being very biased in your questioning.

  5. Beats me. Most of assume they were the same as modern Egyptians, and they are about 10% black on average, about 40% black where the Southern part of ancient Egypt was.

Why do some black people find it so hard to grasp that most of the bodies are Caucasian? Cultural blindspot. Even the Nubians show up as closer to North African and Ethiopians (about 40% Caucasian) with the odd natural blond in the Nubian tombs.

  6. Actually we don't!

I take it you have a very conservative teacher or have come across some kind of racist site or really out of date Egyptology books?

Yes ome of the Egyptians were and are of Nubian descent but this varies  a lot.

I have seen plenty of pictures of aristocrats from the Middle period onwards who I suspect would look just like a lot of modern African Americans if the Egyptian painters represented skin colors more realistically.

Modern African Americans are very genetically mixed.

Perhaps you should be asking why cant certain onservative archaeologists and on the other hand Afrocentrists accept that the ancient Egyptian  population was mixed to varying degrees?

  7. Nubians White Nile and further downward.

Classical Egypt was heavily influenced by the Stoics and Ptolemy- hence Thebes, Alexandra, Memphis, etc

Had a Nubian been in an influential position, advanced bulding and organistaional skills ewould be evident in African archeology.

These do not exist. Therefore the archeological evidence refutes your argument.

    You are incorrect.

  8. it is for some but the fight over the race of the ancient egyptians has been an ethnocentric battle for a while.

white people want to claim it because some of the ancient egyptians were in fact white, blacks want it because some of them were in fact black, but the fact is the original egyptians before the kingdom grew were more like arabs or phoenicians, they began taking in other races and cultures and whatnot until it became a mixed society, mesopotamia on the other hand, that was white, egypt did in fact have black kings, and white ones, and the same goes for their queens, but the nubians and egyptians were different(and the nubians made a culture of their own aswell, look at the pyramids they built)

  9. Egyptians were not white or black, they were as the people of north Africa are today  a mixture of races and enough is said.
