I can understand Christian Bale using this accent in film roles, but for interviews aswell? As for Joss Stone i don't get it at all with her. Just be who you are not what you're not. Ozzy Osbourne has lived in America for years & he still speaks with a broad Birmingham accent.

  1. Christian Bale still speaks with a Welsh accent, I dunno why you can't hear it.  I don't even know who Joss Stone is so I can't really help you out there.

  2. i read in an interview that when he does an american film when he has to use an american accent, in interviews he talks how he talked in the film so he doesnt confuse people. In movies when he plays a british charactor he talks normally in interviews.

  3. Called Acting.

  4. I think part of it is after spending so much time doing a movie with a certain accent, he gets used to speaking that way and does it out of habit. Bale is talented and uses a lot of different accents in the films he is in...it seems to come natural to him. He generally speaks with his Welsh accent though in the interviews I've seen him in...
