Why do Christians Vote for President's That love to kill for no Reason?

You say you are a child of God, you say you are a follower of Jesus, but Jesus never killed his enemies, how ever you support killing, by voting for people like Bush, and McCain. Please explain how in the world, this is in accordance with gods wishes? Side Note are these people that vote these killers into office are they not just as guilty of murder?

Politics has little to do with God. Religious people vote for both parties. They could wisen up and vote Libertarian though...right?

I kno u don't like Bush/McCain due to their stance on Iraq and Afghanistan, but have u heard what Brack Obama wants to to in Afghanistan? Look, vote for Obama if u want but there will be troops in Iraq and Afghanistan for years to come, so don't bash Bush/McCain.

I agree.

You'll find that a LARGE percentage of conservative Christians vote primarily based on a candidate's pro-life status.  They think that if they vote for someone who is pro-choice, they will be responsible for the murdered babies.  So their righteousness for life leads them to pick the pro-lifer first.

But they haven't thought it out.  They pretend it's a black and white issue, but it's not.  It's gray.  Facts are that Roe v. Wade was three and half decades ago.  In those thirty-five years conservatives have been voting for the pro-lifers over and over and over.  Yet abortion availability is still there, still the same.  Facts are that the abortion issue simply isn't changing.  So they're wasting their vote on a single issue.  The same number of unwanted babies are murdered each year regardless of whether you vote for a pro-lifer or not.

BUT it is indeed fact that our current pro-lifer president directly caused the deaths of over 4000 American soldiers by sending them into a pointless war.  Not to mention the many thousands more of innocent Iraqis who have died and still die each day due to terrorist attacks in a country destabilized by American actions.

So.  Vote for the pro-lifer?  Changes nothing.  Vote for the warmonger?  Kills thousands of Americans and Iraqis.  Anyone who pretends that their pro-life vote was worth it should go explain that to the lost soldiers' and Iraqi victims' families.

also you do know that the president only has the power to go to war for 30 days... after that unless the congress agrees to the war the US has to pull its troops...

and also it is hard to know what politicians are going to do when they get into office as every single one of them lies about what they are going to do when they get there....

All of the major wars fought in the twentieth century by the US were initiated by Democrat presidents. Did they love to kill for no reason? we weren't attacked by Vietnam nor were we attacked by North Korea or Germany in WWI.
