Why do Christmas decorations get put out earlier every year?

It just so hard to wait.  I shop for Christmas all year round.  Although, I refuse to decorate before Thanksgiving and they have to go down before new year.

I'm torn between saying that it's because christmas PRODUCTS come out earlier and earlier because the corporations are run by greedy men and women and saying that it's because people naturally love the pretty colours. ;) For me it's because of the latter.

They are trying to make Christmas last longer.

so the earlier and longer we keep them up, the happier everyone's supposed to be.

I think it's because the companies are in competition and need to get their stock out first to make the most profit.

And I guess with the current recession people will need to start shopping earlier.

CHRISTMAS IS OVER FOR THE YEAR! :P

Same thing with Halloween. My neighbors are just crazy.
