Don't you realise that we've already dealt with this before! Abramovich came along with all his money and shocked the footballing world, but it took us like 2 years and now we're back at the top again!

Yes you've got a bit more money than even Abramovich, but so what? You can buy all the greedy money-obsessed players if you want - but the best footballing players will always prefer the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, and (though I hate to say it) Liverpool. They'll go there to be a part of a club with history, to become part of that history. To follow the likes of Best, Charlton, Di Stefano, Romario and erm Emlyn Hughes!

And besides, you're Manchester City!! You know this is gonna end up going spectacularly wrong very soon!! lol

Oh yeah, and well done for signing a player who Pele says needs counselling and who the whole of Brazil is ashamed of for leaving Real Madrid! lol

  1. couldnt agree more

you can have all the money in the world but still not buy the title

the problem is man.city is becoming way too ambitious.the day before they bought robinhio and now they want to buy many more players by january

examples are:fabregas ,ronaldo, torres and i doint think any of  these players would even consider leaving thier clubs

fabregas and torres are still entitled to their clubs and even though man.city has the dosh to buy them, they may fail to acquire some of the players they would like to

another issue is that of the management.ok,you have the players but what next? the coach has to be very knowledgeable and has to have the ability to practice good techniques and that derives from experience which is also a must if you are going for the title

SAF and wenger can turn average players into stars and that requires a lot of patience and experience something which man.city may lack even though they might acquire some new players.even so,it will be hard to challenge for the title so abruptly.they only have one new player and its not that easy to break into the top 4.maybe that will happen in a couple of years once the squad and the management has improved but that takes  quite some time.it doesnt all happen as instantly as within one season!

  2. I totally agree. i think the peoples in abu dhabi bought manchester city got screwed over because they thought it was manchester united.

in history of, ever, manchester united were always the superior team.  they can buy whoever they like but if they cant train them in the first place, i doubt they can upkeep top players.

  3. Yep you're definitely talking sense.

When Chelsea got a bit of Russian pocket money, people thought it was all over for the rest. I even remember some idiot writing a big article in the paper saying that it's the end of United's dominance and that Fergie had lost the plot. Yes we struggled for a few years but sorted it out at the end of those two only to dominate an FA Cup Final to lose unjustly on penalties.

Fergie gave Chelsea an answer, it was to say that we all know who is the football Godfather, Man City have a legend in Hughes and they have the money but the big teams which people will always truly join for the the prestige will be Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal. Man City may win a big trophy, they may even win the title or Champions League but they will never be as big or as well respected as the rest. Zenit St Petersburg has the money because they are owned by a very powerful Russian oil company but they're fans are racist thugs, it just goes to show that although a club can have a load of money they can totally lack class at the same time.

  4. the pressure is really on city to deliver some silverware but when was the last time eh !

  5. I agree with you there.

Manchester City are being the most arrogant buggers since Chelsea and at the end of the day you can't buy long term sucsess. When after a few season City still don't win anything the Arabs will sell the club or sack manager after manager after manager till Man City is the new Newcastle.

But I can't really blame City fans, after being in shadow of Man United for over a hundred years they can't help but be cocky about their new found way out of mediocrity, unfortunatly for them, it's not going to work on the long term.

  6. lol BRILLIANT!!!

they just want to compete though but your reasoning is near flawless

  7. cuz they are

  8. I dont know why City fans should think that United fans are scared  of them having all this money, in fact why should ANY other teams fans be scared?

Money does not score goals, players do, 11 players against 11 players regardless of what ridiculous amount of money has been paid for them, money does not guarantee a game win, or a league win, or a trophy win.

Lets wait and see WHAT difference it will make to Man City!

  9. I totally agree

its all well and good buying all the best players in but they wont gel as a team becuase they will all be selfish and wont be team players and then the team will suffer.

and btw nice one pele, couldnt have put it better myself

  10. I also agree :) well said

  11. because you are scared its time for united to move aside

  12. As most of the Qs are coming from everybody other than City fans,i guess that answers your Q.

Typical gloryhunter, when you were a kid did you always want to play against inferior teams or did you want to prove yourself against better opposition, cos i know when i played i loved pising on the so called better teams, and was on S forms, then got scouted from clubs North and South.

John.S what reason is he stating as to me that's a full blown rant, like the loon who asked it

    ANOTHER 6 EASY POINTS

    sounds more reasonable

  13. EXACTLY!do you know what i dont even care even one bit!infact im actualy bit excited!so looks like scared is not the word then.

i certainly dont think they're gonna knock us off our perch!
