Why do Copts in Egypt...?

Why do copts in Egypt believe they are not Arabs?

I find it strange for someone who is enjoying arabic culture to the fullest....listening to arabic songs, watching arabic language movies and TV, going to arabic universities and SPEAKING ARABIC as a first language, to be making up such ridiculous claims!

If u read the History of Egypt ...... u will find that Christianity entered Egypt after the time of Pharoahs on the hands of the Roman Catholic, right ??

So many Egyptians (( that were Pharaohs )) converted to Christianity

In the followed era, Egyptians were descended from the TWO ancestors (( Pharoahs AND Romans who came with the Roman Empire & lived - married in Egypt )) ..... right ??

After that, When Islam entered Egypt ..... many Christians converted to Islam

In the followed era, Egyptians became descended from the THREE ancestors (( Pharoahs, Romans & Arabs ))

After that, in the Modern History, Egypt was conquered by many foreign countries (( France, England, .... ))

And many soldiers (( Christians & soldiers who converetd to Islam )) married from Egyptian girls & lived in Egypt after that ......

NOW, would u please tell me ......

Where i came from ???

Who r my ancestors ???

- May be my great great great grand father was a Pharaoh & my family converted to Islam after that

- May be my great great great grand father was a Roman soldier & my family converted to Islam after that

- May be my great great great grand father was one of the Muslims that came to Egypt after Islam entered Egypt

- May be my great great grand mother fall in love with a French soldier (( who converted to Islam )) & got married THEN after 5 or 6 generations ....... here i am

Oh, d**n it ...... NOW i have to go & search for my FAMILY TREE to find out where the heck i came from ...... !!!

Who cares that i am from a Pharaoh grand father .... or a Muslim grand father .... or whatever

I dunno, they keep expressing this idea that they are Racially pure and "Real" Egyptians....remember it was this type of thinking that the n***s utilized...are Copts (not all of them, just those that express these opinions) sure they want to represent themselves as a group of racial 'purists'?

its their identity and everyone in this world looks for his identity and proud of what his or her origin

the copts so far have kept the language educated in the church

and have resourses of all their history including great and effective people ,Saints and martyres  along the history

even their art (in the coptic museum) and many monastries.

exactly like the saudi arabian who is proud that he is considered from koreish tribe ,because profit Mohamed from the same tribe

i dont see any reason for that hate against any group in the world to be proud of their origin as long as they dont kill or murder or hate anybody.

because we are the sons of ancient egyptians and we spoke our language even in the times of the romans , till the "arabs" invaded "to free us as they say"..of course not to protect their boundaries ..  the arabic culture was imposed on us from that time till now , i hope i answered your question ... am not saying that arab culture is bad , but its   not our culture
