Why do Dale Earnhardt Jr fans get mad when someone say something negative about him? Hmmm?

I ask this because it seems to me that they can trash talk Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson & Jeff Gordon, but the minute someone say anything bad about Jr, they get upset. They act like he is some kind of God or something. I have nothing against Jr, just never been a fan of the man & never will. Every fan has their right to like or dislike whatever driver they want & I don't mind the negative talk about other drivers but when you have to use the words, suck, crybaby, whiner or call someone g*y, that to me is a little immature & those fans need to grow up

Not all of them get mad if an intelligent, valid criticism is posted.  Every driver has some rabid fans who refuse to believe that their driver isn't perfect.  

I agree that the name calling is getting way out of hand.  Ninety-nine percent of it comes from our unfriendly neighborhood trolls.

Some people are very passionate about their driver.  They feel they have to defend him in any crisis situation and yet we, and I include myself bash other drivers because that is the nature of the beast.  We are human its kind of nature.

Jr Fans are loyal fans. I wouldn't talk smack about another driver. Whether Jr wins or not, it's not the end of the world. Come on he lost his dad.

if you can't defend your driver without resorting to name calling, it shows the level of intelligence of the person posting.

Cause the fans overrate him and he's like an ego maniac. Just because there is a better driver in nascar than Jr dosnt mean we should be angry and be hatin on him! Kyle busch right now is proving to Hendricks, "you guys made a mistake". Now he's gonna win the championship and little E nation can go cry in their beds like they do every sunday when he gets blind sighted by the underdog driver or just the better driver.

I think you have it wrong.  Most Junior fans do support him but you see all we hear is how terrible  he is, how overrated he is, how if it wasn't for his dad he would never be here, how he hasn't won a race in two years, he is a cry baby, his fans suck.  Anyone would become annoyed hearing this all day every day.  I don't get angry but heck ya I am going to stick up for him.  I also don't knock other drivers unless there have been incidents to provoke me.  I don't bash any drivers fans because that is unfair to the loyal ones.  

It's OK to not like my favorite and it's OK for me to not like yours, furthermore it's OK to voice an opinon it's what we are here for but why keep trashing one person over and over again.  It gets so old.  Every question on here ultimately leads to Junior.  Even when he isn't the subject someone will stop in just to bash him.  I know alot of folks just Troll to get a rise out of people which is something else entirely.  They are just lonley sad people looking for attention even if it's bad.  Heck I feel kinda sorry for them, I wish they had better & happy lives & didn't feel the need to feed off the anger of others.

I like being here and answering questions.  It sure passes the day at work..LOL.  I can get a little riled every now and again but everyone has a point when they have to blow off some steam.  I try to not be beligerent sometimes it may come off that way but it's almost never intentional.  

That is my thoughts anyway.

Hey you have a good point but what do you think Gordon's, Johnson's, and Kyle's fans do the moment they hear something bad about their drivers... They get pissed off because they are loyal to their drivers and don't want to hear anything bad about them and it is the same way with most driver's fans

Are you a Busch, johnson or Gordon fan? Apparently not because if you were you'd be a bit upset if they were trashed. That's part of being a fan! Your support your person/team. Supporting them also includes defending them, to a certain extent. It's human nature. Using words like suck, crybaby and whiner is not immature. But, calling someone g*y or using abusive or vulgar language is. people are passionate about the drivers/teams/sports. Some more than other and some go to too much extreme, that's life!

Good question. I don't understand why people have to be immature about their driver. I'm a Jeff Gordon fan and ignore all the "he is g*y", "he is a cry baby", etc. posts. Like Tom P suggested.

Cause they've been acting this way for so long they don't know to do anything different.  When that happens just consider the source and go on.  Poor things.

It's all part of the drama and sport.  You get this in every sport and it will not stop.  Be a little boring if it did.  You can single out any driver's fan base and find those who trash other drivers and fans.  Learn to live with it and enjoy the sport.  If you can't handle the trash talk, don't read it or find another sport, but you'll find the same ol story there as well...lol.

Does anyone know what Ellayy just said, or did I miss something?  And for your question, I have noticed that too! I think Jr's fans are (for the most part) the fans of his dad. And they get confused and think that when you are bashing Jr you're talking about Dale.... but that's just my opinion

Unfortunately, this forum has turned into a pissing match of "My driver can kick your drivers butt".

Add in the trolls who cruise through and start or comment just to get a rile out of people, and you've got kindergarten all over again.

I read, but don't post to the rants, rave and basic pissing matches most of the time. I suggest it highly.

he is not god but is the most popular and best driver you ever see in the track. and he respect all the drivers even guys like kile bush and brian vickers wreck him in the last lap.
