Why do Democrats appear to be so spiteful?

Almost every Democratic party-supporting responses that i read is filled with hate and disgust for those of the opposing party. The republican party- supporting responses appear to be more mild. Are these just a few extremists? Or are they hypocrites that call Republicans evil, when they are actually evil themselves?

i'm an independent and i think this whole democrat vs. republican thing (or vice versa) is completely ridiculous. the only reason democrats seem alittle more tenacious is because they are angered at the republican party. the republicans aren't saying anything because they have control in the government now, so it wouldn't make any sense to fire back at the dems. Dems want the power now.

Especially with the young, they are looking at world issues with what they have learned, not with what they have experienced, some of the issues i see being decussed are so so out of what is really happening i can hardly believe it.

And to try and give reason goes against there learning and they won't have it.

A lot of western ideals (esp the liberial ones) are so funny when you live in a non western country, makes us look like complete fools.

yet only see the bad ones from the dems...

I guess after 8 years of seeing only what you want out of the Bush Administration... you guys have mastered the art to the degree that you're no longer even aware you're doing it...

I think it has to do with their inability to support their positions so they try to focus your attention away from their rantings onto defending yourself against their name calling.

Perhaps because we got cheated out of the last two elections and have watched our beautiful country run into the sewers by Bush and Cheney.

Perhaps because TENS of THOUSANDS of innocent people - including American Soldiers - have DIED because of Bush's lies.

Maybe we don't want to see John McBush do it again.
