Why do Democrats believe natural disasters are the result of Republican policies?

They don't.  They blame the republicans for their p*** poor response to said disasters.  Do you repeat everything you hear someone say on Rush's show?  Polly want a cracker?

If you don't spend money to reinforce the levees, you get failure and floods.

If its more important to not raise taxes than to take care of infrastructure and a federal bridge falls down then what difference does it make if you are Democrat or Republican.

If its a policy of Republicans to let things go, or not build it strong enough because its cheaper in the short term, then when something goes wrong because of that, they should simply tell the people that they took a risk and it turned out wrong.

Right?

I don't.  I believe natural disasters are caused by God because of how badly we are treating the planet.  It's his way of telling us to stop, but no one listens and they think I'm crazy.  Pretty sure I'm not.  Oh and when I say the way we're treating the planet I don't mean anything about homosexuality, and I'm  a democrat and proud of it.

Its hard to say where cons get the idea that anything that goes wrong is the thinking of libs.  That would be powerful, Oddly the natural disasters are bad, but when republicans think its better to permit insurance companies from paying out what they collect money for and instead put the burden on the taxpayers instead of their wealthy friends and lobbiest yes bad thinking is to blame.  Some people mistakenly believe that Dems suck  money out of the govt, when they are working people like anyone else except the rich corps getting govt bailouts yes that too is a disaster, not natural unless braindamage is the reason or human nature of greed is a classification that you may be referring to.  Oh thanks for the reminder why we need to get them out of power, before we have no nation to represent, but I m sure they will get their pensions

I do not know anyone that blames Republicans for the disasters. However, I know a number of people that have been critical of the federal government response to these disasters. A big difference.
