Why do Democrats think Cindy McCain's $3,000 designer name bargain dress costed $300,000 - what gives fake hyp?

Her Oscar de la renta designer dress cost $3,000 which is a bargain - i usually pay $500 for no name dresses and I'm not a huge huge millionaire like her. Her diamond jewelery was worth close to $200,000 and purse, shoes, accessories etc added up for the stupid misleading headline to read that her "outfit" cost $300,000. Oprah's purses alone are $20,000+ each. She made a big stink in Paris when that desginer purse store wouldn't let her in after hours - their purses alone start at $10,000. What's the big deal for a very wealthy woman to spend her own money on a $3,000 dress for a huge event millions of people would be watching, a historical event at that? Why the hate from the democrats just because she's not on welfare and can afford her nice taste clothing at bargain costs considering the big label? Celebrities would drop many times that for a similar event. What gives??????

The democrats will stoop at nothing to attack the republicans.  Pretty disgraceful if you ask me.  Cindy is a beautiful woman who works hard helping others.

i really don't care what she wears. I do know that she donates millions to charity and has done wonderful work for the children of the world for years.

The "hype" is not fake at all.  Vanity Fair did a complete breakdown of what EVERY woman that walked on both the DNC and RNC's stage wore. Nobody was excluded.

It was her 3 carat diamond earrings that jacked the total price up - with an approximate street value of $280,000 for the earrings.

Her pearl necklace was also the most expensive set of pearl necklaces worn by any woman at either convention, ringing in at $25,000.

But, if you remove the expenses for those two items from every woman, the price of the dress, shoes and other accessories are just about the same for every woman that walked up on the stage.

The BIG question is: are those HER earrings?

Most stars RENT or are GIVEN the super high priced jewelry that they wear because they are walking advertisements for the jewelers that made them.  They have to return them after the event is over.

So when Cindy McCain shows up with $280,000 on her ears, people have to ask - are those hers?  And if they ARE hers, is she snubbing her nose at everyone wearing it like that, showing off her wealth, or is that just chump change for her - because movie stars do not even own jewelry like that.
