Why do Democrats throw away opportunities?

I think Obama is a huge down payment on a lost election.

I have been wondering that myself. The winning ticket would have been Clinton/Obama. Yet they have chosen Obama and thrown the Clinton's under the bus. I guess they will get what they deserve, yet we will all suffer for it if McCain becomes President.

In democracy no one loses, the people get together and decide. The winner is always the people in general. Maybe the person you want doesn't win, but unless you are an Evil Over Lord and want everyone to follow your iron will, get over it.

People come together, talk, discuss and decide. Surely this process is flawed but not as much as other system.s
