You have to pay like more than £60 to watch a test match at Lords, and even the next 20-20 cup, its going to be about £50 to watch just 3 hours of cricket.

Why do England Rip everyone off.

  1. For me it's more fun watching a cricket match on TV than at the stadium. I watched many matches at the stadium but that time things were a lot cheaper.

  2. what an exciting and enthralling question

  3. That's not a rip off mate! You can't expect bargain basement prices at the home of cricket, & that is the way they raise a lot of their revenue. Why do people always expect something for nothing? I would be happy to pay that, just to say I have seen a Lord's cricket match.I am sure they would have cheaper seats somewhere, we do in Sydney.

Sometimes I read something which just don't make any sense, & that is Jindgi's accusing me of being 'biased against Sachin fans. Now where in my answer did I mention Sachin or his fans, & where in the askers question did he mention he was a Sachin fan? Do you expect me to remember every single person in this section & their preferrences? And where in my answer did I say I had been there? I am not dumb, I know what entry to cricket grounds here in Australia costs, I am a member of the ACF & regularly get updates on tickets & prices. It would only take a little commonsense to see that most venues would have similar charges.

  4. you earn in pounds so you spend in pounds, isn't it ! I don't think the ticket cost you are talking about is the lowest , you can opt for the lower ticket costs, of course you will get a place , where you will have no clue of what is happening in the middle,  lol!

  5. hows that a rip-off??

Actually when i came to Canada from India, I thought everythin here was costly and u knw...but we have to go along wid it cuz the money we think is "rip-off" is normal for others here :)..!

  6. Because there are takers for that price.

  7. Watch it on TV

  8. Yeah it is a bit rich isnt it?..But where are you wanting to sit..In a special box. You'd want to be for that price..

Tickets for a 20/20 match here is Australia are oround $25 per ticket,so when you look at the exchange rate it works out to be roughly the same..
