Why do English people think it's fine to post jokes derogatory to the Welsh but as soon as I posted one ..?

which was favourable towards the Welsh (not rude or offensive) they report it?

This was my joke...do you think it deserved a violation?:-

A Welsh farmer saw an English tourist about to take a drink from a stream, and told him in Welsh "Paid ag yfed o'r afon hon, mae'r gwartheg a'r defaid wedi cachu ynddi" (" Don't drink from this stream, the cattle and sheep have crapped in it"). The Englishman answered curtly..."I don't understand that lingo....speak English man!"

To which, the farmer replied..."Oh, I was only saying...'use both hands, you'll get more that way' ".

I've seen many anti-Welsh jokes, to do with sheep mostly that have been allowed but as soon as I posted this.....bang!"

Is it that the English can dish it out but can't take it?

I agree, It's as if Yahoo Answers is anti anything Welsh. After all the jokes about the Welsh it's only right that we have our say. But no of course it's not possible because it's now Racist isn't it. I mean the only language you can use is English on this site. Yahoo Uk and Ireland? - What about Irish and Welsh?. Welsh has over a Million speakers in the UK and Northern Ireland. Yahoo lowers the profile of our country, our people, our language, culture and anything that is different to their ways which are largely English customs. The English therefore can't take a bit of Humour? Yes there is a sense of Racism here but if it's aright for the English to say " Sheep shagger" "Your language is dead" You only speak it to communicate in Secrete like some code to exclude the English?? i dont believe that it is racist in any way. its not intended to offend, its just a joke.

i wouldnt worry about it - questions are pulled for all sorts of silly reasons. if two or more people dont like it then they can get it pulled.

Why do Welsh people (you), instantly presume that they can blame English people for everything, you have no idea of the nationality of the person who reported your joke or the reason why it was reported. I think the jokes funny but lose the chip on your shoulder.
