Why do Females make it so hard for a man to talk.. ?

Why do females make it so hard for a man to talk to them. Why make a men try so hard... Don't get me wrong but ladies we are not in the Olympics and your not the gold medal,, so why play games with men. lead men on just to satisfy your amusement,, All we ask for is honesty, honesty in telling us that your not interested.. Am i just going to far with this cause i don't want to sound crazy but I just want to know why

Okay by saying, "Don't get me wrong but ladies we are not in the Olympics and your not the gold medal,, so why play games with men." That sounds a little like you don't really care about women and what they have to offer, you just want them to let their guard down for you and sometimes it's not the case that we're "defensive" it's because you probably don't know how talk to a woman, as stated before this sentence: Don't get me wrong but ladies we are not in the Olympics and your not the gold medal,, so why play games with men. -- makes you sound like you don't really care too much.

EDIT:

When you think about the Olympics, you think of athletes (men in the case) working hard for a gold medal (a woman). So basically what you said is, "I'm not here to try my best talking to you, I'm just here to start a meaningless convo and get your number." Definitely not a vibe chics want to get.

There are many psychological reasons for this.  One reason may be that the woman is insecure and questions what she is really looking for in a man.  Or she could really be into you but also not sure if she is making the right decision.  Most women think a little harder about relationships than guys.  Most women are looking for a lifelong partner, not someone who she thinks will dump her when he finds the next best thing.  Maybe you should tell her your intentions before you settle down.

Yeah, because no man has ever lead on a woman "just to satisfy his own amusement".

All WE ask for is honesty and some respect. If we thought men could give us this, we wouldn't need to be defensive and cautious.
