Why do Griffin TuneBuds (in-ear headphones) break so easily?

I have to buy a new pair every month because one of the ear-buds stops working sporadically.

Why does this happen?

How do I stop it?

  1. This happens due to poor design or workmanship (likely both). This is not a fault of your own, and is probably due to the Griffin company.

Get a pair of quality earbuds (Logitech or Sennheiser). You'll probably invest about 30 dollars, but the quality is amazingly different and they'll last much longer.
