Why do Harley-Davidson motorcyclists not wear helmets?

I am not saying that they ALL don't wear helmets. But here in Wisconsin, I have noticed that the Harley crowd tends to not wear helmets more often than riders on other bikes.

I am looking for theories as to why this could be.

MAYBE BECAUSE THE LAW IN THAT STATE SAYS THEY CAN.

AND IT IS A FREEDOM OF CHOICE.!!!!!!!

They think they are immune to physics, and they don't go fast enough to crash hard anyway.

All the Harley owners I know wear them.

I don't know. Maybe they look tougher without them.

The helmet wouldn't go with their halloween costume. Why do they all dress up as pirates?

They mostly ride so slow that they don't really need a helmet.
