  1. it's been torrential rain and flooding in n.ireland but today as d says it is so sunny, it still doesn't feel the same when you get a sunny autumn we should have summery summers.

  2. Aww the sun is out here today, its lovely, fancy a move??xx

  3. It was an early Hurricane out over the Atlantic & caribbean that pushed the Gulf Stream air north too soon.

That is the only reason we have had a sh*t summer, plus the fact that your  name is darkmere might have something to do with it.

  4. I know it's depressing

It's just started raining here now :(

  5. It will rear it's sparkly head in time no doubt.

  6. I agree...I have owned a £400 telescope for a fortnight, not a single clear weekend night that I can test it out it on...still...its box is making a nice table in the corner (beginning to think its the most expensive table I own!)

  7. Lol I just made the exact same comment to my mate, who promptly rebutted saying that they were going to Spain... grrr

  8. because its wet and miserable out side and it pretty much has been for as long as i can remember!!! d**n it!!

  9. You are so right.

All this c**p about global warming warming up our planet... I'm sorry but it isn't doing us very good!

  10. Yes, I would agree with you, we are in the middle of the sea, and boy, don't we know it!!!!

But just watch,  ---   when we get a bit of a dry spell we will be being ordered to use water sparingly!!

  11. They didnt count the sunshine here in N Ireland in weeks the met office counted it in hours on the fingers of one hand lol

  12. So much for the global warming experts telling us that our weather will become more like the Mediterranean!

However the real reason is far more mundane. Our weather is predominantly from the North Atlantic and over the last couple of years the 'Jet Stream' has been further south than usual as a consequence the warmer wet weather that would have passed us by to the north is dumping it's load over the UK and other parts of Northern Europe.

  13. Dry and Sunny here today.  Gosh its great to see. I'm off out now to enjoy it.  Long may it last.

  14. it'll be another 9 months or so now..

we had, what? 2 weeks of sunshine - not even that - and thats our summer.

    I feel cheated.

  15. Depressing ain't it? The cheery boffins on global warming did say that the UK would get steadily wetter all year round and have milder winters. Unfortunately it seems that they are right, dull, grey wet and not even a decent snowball fight to relieve the boredom. Why would anyone want to come here :-(

  16. i know wheres the summer gone?

  17. I share your pain! As I understand it, we had the dullest August on record this year. Presumably, we can hope that next summer might be nice, but we did that last Autumn, after all the flooding, so you're probably right. I'm gonna move to Fiji.

  18. Yeah

    SUMMERS DEAD!!!!!!!

    xD

  19. Yes and autumn has arrived so soon dont you think?

No summer and its so cold and gray all the time.

  20. Yeah it sucks. I thought global warming was meant to make it hotter over here??? lol. Summer is definately over. But then again, knowing our random weather, we'll probably have a heatwave in november or something ridiculous.
