Why do I always dream about crashing on a commercial flight?

In many of my dreams my plane goes down in the ocean but I always seem to make it unharmed. In my dream I pull my family out of the wreckage safely. I think this has to do something with my strong desire to support my family and provide for them. I want to be a pilot as a hobby but I am scared to start taking lessons, i dont trust myself flying alone.

maybe it is because ur alittle nerbous, oh and when u fly in an airplane they have to put a friend next to you, so ur never alone

Humans are naturally vain and Men want to be heroes - naturally to attract women. lol Don't be like me and try to impress a girl by saying you can do 50 push ups in 30 seconds and then do it in nearly twice the time. lol. She liked me anyway so I guess that didn't matter. lol.

Humans are naive in a sense because we don't comprehend death very well and we don't fully comprehend the machines that we create. No one person could ever perfectly understand a modern, complex plane. It is no possible. Thus, were are endowed with idiotic hope. If you were to survive you animal instincts would kick in and until you, yourself were in a safe place you wouldn't be thinking about anything else. The people that can over come the selfish thoughts of just looking after themselves are true heroes. No one will ever know how they would ever react in that type of tragic situation unless, GOD forbid, it happened. Hopefully, you nor I shall ever be in that situation.

Flying is a liberating experience and I would think that when you're flying a plane you would turn in a mini robot, lol, just focused on flying the plane safely.

I have been in many planes, but never flown one. I'm only 15 so I think I am going to have to wait a long time. lol.

Plane crashes are very tragic hopefully mankind will create more efficient and advanced technology to make sure that crashes do not occur ever again.

Don't worry. Your CFI (certifited flight instructor) will make you comfortable, and he won't let you fly alone if you're scared.

And you'll probably never die in an airplane accident.
