  1. Because every model out there is a size two who is gorgeous. They strut around in fancy expensive clothing that is outrageous. You just have to realize that you really are pretty. All sizes are fine! Whether Tommy Hilfiger wants to realize it or not. And most of all, your personality matters most! INNER BEAUTY! :D

  2. the problem is not having any self-esteem and lack of confidence in urself. its not good but u can fix that. all it takes is time and the will to accept urself for who u are. what i suggest which works for me, is to get infront of the mirror everyday for atleast 5minutes and just say "this is me and i'm beautiful" keep this up for a while and i hope u'll find it in u to love urself for how u are ! u can do it :D G'luck

it always feels good to love urself, trust me.

  3. because society today is prone to putting people down and making them feel like a lesser person.

crazy amounts of people nowadays have eating disorders and low self-esteem because of what's portrayed in the media; the unrealistic images of the "ideal person" that we see pasted on billboards and on television.

you ARE pretty enough, you ARE thin enough, and you ARE incompetent. you're a real person, not some photoshop creation. whoever tells you that youre not good enough isnt good enough themselves. if the media is getting you down, just watch this video:

    hope i helped :)

  4. Lack of self-esteem. I personally blame the media's, Hollywood's, and the fashion world's very very unhealthy fascination with the "toothpick look" as I call it.

  5. its the way the media portrays woman that makes you feel inadequate to their high standards! Everyone does it.

We buy thickening mascara so we can get the eyelashes that Gwen has, we die our hair blond so guys will be more attracted, we even shop at stores designed and retailed by celebrities just so we can be anything like them and have their names labeled across our chests!

us woman are crazed by a media and standard started by a bunch of old men! who do you think prints the ads of woman in bikinis? has the model photo shopped until she looks "desirable"? has the final say in what gets printed?

its deff. not your everyday soccer mom.

my point is love your body and love who you are.

seventeen has an amazing peace treaty full of celebrities and regular girls like me and you who are coming to terms with their bodies! If you don't feel pretty enough you can buy a new face, if you don't feel skinny enough you can starve yourself but there's absolutely nothing you can do with how you'll feel about you. you might as well do what's right for your body, live the healthiest life style possible and enjoy who you are and what you've been given.

    because its something special.
