Why do I always feel sick after drinking alcohol?

Well the first time I got really drunk I was 15, like wasted. Anyhow I would only get drunk here and there, I was never a big drinker, it wouldn't take a lot for me to get drunk. I'd go home and sleep it off usually never get sick, or feel sick during the night. Well I'm 18 now and that's legal drinking age here and I've been going out the clubs and stuff, drinking at the bar or simply having cooler or a beer at supper. I can't handle it anymore. I can drink half a cooler and I'm done, I will be sick all night, Should I switch what kind of liquor I drink? But like what happened to me? Does my body not like alcohol? Should I stop drinking maybe?

  1. Maybe you need to start drinking more water.

  2. Alcohol isn't really good for you to begin with so if it makes you feel sick i would just lay off it

  3. Alcohol is pure poison to the system so it's not surprising that you would feel ill but from your description it sounds like you have a mild allergy to alcohol - you should be tested.

In the meantime, drink a bottle of water and take two asprins before going to bed when you drink and see if that helps.

  4. Stop drinking, that what i had to do.  My body just couldn't handle it, plus it will let you know.

  5. maybe you should stop drinking so much alcohol.

  6. Welll if you feel that sick maybe you should stop drinking. But i used to get really sick when i drank until I learned a neat little trick. You sip you drinks (no chuggin) and in between each drink you drink a bottle of water. Not only are you more alert...no hangovers...ever! it's great

  7. Don't listen to these people. That queasy feeling you feel after you drink too much is your body's way of saying that there is too much blood in your alcohol stream. It's your body telling you to drink more. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!

Don't you feel better when you're drunk? Don't you feel better looking, smarter and funnier? Of COURSE you do. That's because you ARE!

As your doctor, I would advise you to either get a 12pack of Shiner Bock, a Jack Daniel's e***a, or a 30pack of c**p beer and hook it up to an IV unit. But for God's sake, get some alcohol in you STAT!

  8. if it is making you feel sick, you shouldn't be drinking it, your body obviously doesn't appreciate it.
