Why do I always get angry at my boyfriend?

I know I'm being selfish and a little unreasonable but when things don't go my way I get really upset with him like if we don't do what I want to do, sit where I want to sit etc. Once he got angry back at me and called me "controlling." In a way I think it's true but I've always been a perfectionist and I can't help myself. I want to be with him all the time.

Sometimes his jokes p**s me off too. I can't help feeling this way, I really love him.

You are controlling. Everything is about you, you, you. You throw temper tantrums because you can't get what you want. Please dump him, you are only hurting him and it is only going to get worse if you don't leave him and go seek professional help. He deserves better treatment.

Unless you lower your expectations of him, things will never change between you.  A relationship should be 50/50 give and take.  You need to consider his feelings and desires too.  Try pleasing him a little more than pleasing yourself if you are a "perfectionist".  Good luck!

you're not being a perfectionist, you're being stubborn. you want things to go your way or no way at all. i use to be like that but that was when i figured out that the relationship wasn't challenging enough. it doesn't really have to be challenging to get you to not be angry, maybe you're spending too much time with him. he annoys you because he's being typical...maybe you need a change.

I think its obsession.

You’re the domineering type of a person.

Perhaps you might be into Bondage sort of a thing.

Try taking a glass / two of wine.

It might help you to relax a bit especially when you’re with your guy.
