Why do I always get hurt when I don't do anything?

Hi last night , I was out at the park with my best friends we were discussing something and one of my friends were saying a word loud over and over so these drunk started to do it so we crossed the road, and they started to " GRRRRRR" at us and then one of my other friends said you want to challenge "GRRRRRRRRR" she was stupid to do that and they followed us on bikes and I split from them and one of them said " Ha ha ha you small . Shrimp fook off!" and I got all of it and it wasn't even me. Life isn't fair should I of stuck up for myself ? or would that lead to more trouble? why am I always the one who gets it ?
