Every time I get my eyebrows waxed, I always break out in that area. Does anyone know why?

  1. because the hair produces special oils for your skin, and without it your hair folicles are exposed to bacteria.

  2. maybe when the wax came in touch with ur face it opened up ur pores and the stuff filled up ur pores with dirt.

  3. The skin in that area might be a little sensitive, so waxing it makes it super irritated and exposes the skin more. Ask the worker if they have any gels or creams to apply after they wax it. It helps to cool the skin and make it feel less irritated.

When I get home, I gently wash the freshly waxed area and put zit cream.

  4. it happens when you pluck eyebrows too :)

you can an after wax/pluck cooling gel or cream.

it's pretty good and it reduces redness.

  5. i do sometimes too, rather annoying.

i think it irritates the pores and causes them to revolt agains us trying to look our best lol

i have started washing gently when i get home and using a tiny touch of anti bac oint and it keeps them away

  6. Irritated skin most likely.

  7. Maybe a mild allergic reaction

  8. it happens to almost everyone, ask them if the have a different kind of wax, and make sure you wash your face after. they say not to exfoliate but in my personal opinion I do and it seems to help.
