Question:

Why do I always see the number 36 on the clock?

I always seem to see the number 36 on the clock. I'd say about ten times a day, give or take a few. It's either 12:36, 9:36, 7:36, etc. This has been happening to me since I was in 8th grade. I'm now in college!!! I use to go to bed at 11:36 almost every single night in 9th grade. If I think about the number sometimes, I'll look at the clock, and sure enough, it's _:36. WHAT THE h**l?!??! Obviously, this can't really be answered, but does this happen to anybody else, or does anybody have any guesses?

P.S. The reason I thought about asking is because I was sitting here and suddenly thought about the number 36, I looked at the clock, and it was 11:37. d**n!!! Only one off!

  2. It's probably what most people would regard as a coincidence, but there could be good and evil influence there.

It has happened enough to have gotten your attention, now what you have to do is figure out what connection there is.

I take it it's always in regard to time....yes? Then think back to what might have happened in your life that could be meaningful around that particular time.

Perhaps it's a time that has not come yet; a birth, a death, somehting joyous, something not-so joyous.

Keep a keen eye, and think with honesty and with your heart. Shed all evil, for it could be evil trying to derail, or deceive you in some way. The influences of good and evil in the lives of everyone is a very, very real fact of life. Good things that happen to us are not necessarily of Godly origin, nor are the bad things necessarily evil in origin.

Part of all this depends on your relationship with Jesus, and how true to His word you are.

  3. Look at it the moment you read this message, I bet it won't be XX:36

You probably have seen all the numbers on the clock show up, but your brains pays extra attention to 36, thus making it the only one you can remember as the most common, when in fact is not like that - that unless your day to day routine is always the same and always check the clock at about the same time..

  4. this must fit in  numerology,so here is the number 36,you have to put it in a simple one, how?simply just add,the number

3+6=9(so this is the number that has the meaning of the 36)

Numerology is created from the Latin word 'numerus', which means 'number', and the Greek word 'logos', which means 'word', 'thought', 'expression'. Therefore, the numerology can be defined as 'the science of numbers'. Since ancient times people have used created a mystical relationship between numbers and the character or action of physical objects and living things. Currently numerology is used to predict the future and better understand human behavior patterns. Reality is created by numeric codes. Thus numbers are the universal language. These numbers repeat in cycles creating patterns of experience - Fibonacci Numbers, the Golden Ratio, and the architectural blueprint of our reality, also known as Sacred Geometry = SG = Stargate = Alchemy Wheel - 12 Around 1. Human consciousness and our DNA are digitally encoded by these numbers - much like a computer program. They have their trigger points like an alarm clock, to awaken us as we move through the alchemy of time and consciousness.

  5. I have had the same exact thing happen to me my entire life, my Husband has as well.  Numerology and Numerological divination were popular among early Mathematicians, such as Pythagoras, but are no longer considered part of Mathematics and are regarded as Pseudo-Mathematics by most Scientists.

This is similar to the Historical development of Astronomy out of Astrology, and Chemistry from Alchemy.  Today, Numerology is often associated with the occult, alongside Astrology and similar Divinatory Arts. (Greek μαντεια, from μαντις "seer", is the attempt of ascertaining information by interpretation of omens or an alleged supernatural agency)The term can also be used for those who, in the view of some observers, place excess faith in numerical patterns, even if those people don't practice traditional numerology.

I always see 3's 9's and 12's, which as you can obviously see are all divisible by three.

I know this is a LONG answer, but there are MANY answers to your question, depending on YOUR Belief System.  It is also Completely Possible that it's psychosomatic, like others said, you might relate the number to something subconsciously.  It's all VERY interesting, I hope you check out the links.

  6. Maybe you have a very well calibrated "internal clock" of sorts.  That is, you can tell fairly accurately (w/o a timepiece) when an integral number of hours have elapsed.

btw, don't pay any attention to the numerology diatribe.  I've always found that its proponents suck at mathematics so bad that they've turned it into a religion.

  7. It could be sheer coincidence.  Or, maybe you are focusing too much on the number 36, so you tend to see it more

  8. Three of things going on here and all perfecty logical,

First one is that we all have an incredibly accurate internal clock.  Some people use it to awake in the morning without an alarm clock, I have experienced regularly waking suddenly and completely just seconds before the alarm goes off.  Most of us don't trust and use it but many people have learned to.

Second is our ability to program ourselves just as you have done to make yourself look at the clock at a specific time.  We may not even know we did it or why but I once read a book with 3.15am as a significant time mentioned several times.  For a week afterwards I awoke with 3.15am on my digital alarm by the bed.

Lastly is a mechanism we have that selects whats important and lets through only significant details from our eyes and ears etc.  You will be looking at the clock many times throughout the hour but a part of your brain decides those other numbers are not significant and drops the issue without you being conscious of the thought.  We could never cope with all the input coming at us from the world and even the internal workings of our body so this mechanism helps keep us sane and to concentrate on only the important issues.

We can learn to use all these things in our daily life, or simply to have fun.  Sit down quietly and tell yourself that you want to see red cars with a M and a 4 in the number plate and see what happens.  You will be amazed how many your brain lets through once it understands that is a significant issue for you just as the 36 minute figure is.

  9. I have almost the same problem (if it even IS a problem). Whenever I look at my digital clock in the morning, I always seem to look at it when it says 6:38. When it happens, I comment to my oldest son because that is the time he was born! It also tells me that he needs to move his butt and get ready for school. Happens at 6:38 in the evening as well.

  10. 3+6=9, but so does 8+1.  And if you find the square root of 385499.49594 and times it by 4655 and locate the cosine of it's inversed function, it means your s*x life sucks.

this is just what the first guy said, your brain pays more attention to 36.  Has there ever been a big event in your life involving 36?

    Think about it.

  11. Its just coincidental!
